Vision for our OAE Sector

The OAE Council has identified two long-term outcomes for the OAE Sector:

  • A self-regulated sector that is highly responsible in ensuring safe practices while being accountable to themselves, the sector and the consumers; and

  • A thriving sector that strives to be exemplary in professionalism, continuous development, and designing and delivering quality OAE programmes.

2nd Term Strategic Plans

OAE Council 2nd Term Terms of References

  1. Promote the adoption of the OAE Competency Framework and build a quality training ecosystem.

  2. Increase the adoption of the OAE Safety Governance Framework, Singapore Standard SS710:2024 and Accreditation Schemes.

  3. Review, improve and recognise the quality and safety of OAE programmes in the sector to drive a culture of excellence.

  4. Provide public advisories, statements and responses (to queries or investigations) to guide OAE activities, organisations and schools, so as to strengthen the Council’s national mandate and credibility.
